Neck Lift

In some people after reaching adolescence they accumulate excessive fat in the neck.  This can occur in people that are normal in weight or in people that are overweight.  This is usually a hereditary problem that will not respond to diet and exercise.  These people will have an obtuse angle of the neck as well as loss of definition between the face and neck.  Our goal in treatment is to create an acute angle in the neck as well as to define the jaw line.  We have to sculpture the neck so that there is a definition between the face and the neck.  The sculpturing is done with liposuction.  Once this fat is removed it will stay gone for many years and the result will be long lasting.  

This procedure is done in the office with IV sedation.  People can usually return to work in one week.
