Case #56688
Age: n/a
Procedure: Brachioplasty

This is a patient that has lost a total of 170lbs. She lost 100lbs. on her own and another 70lbs. following a gastric sleeve. Her weight had stabilized but her biggest issue was the prominent skin hanging on the inner portion of her arms. She underwent bilateral brachioplasty which involved suctioning the circumference of the arm and removing the redundant skin on the inside surface of the arm. She is shown preoperatively and about 2-3 months postoperative. Her scars are completely healed. They are asymptomatic. The swelling has completely resolved. The contour is much better. All in all, she got a really nice result.

Case #56074
Age: n/a
Procedure: Brachioplasty

Shown are pre and post op photographs for a brachioplasty. She had a prior breast reduction and still had some redundant tissue on the lateral chest following the reduction. The brachioplasty reduced the circumference of the upper arm and corrected the bat wings and actually tightened the loose skin on the lateral chest. This is one of several ways to do a brachioplasty. It has the advantage of tightening the lateral chest which is beneficial on patients who have lost a bunch of weight.
