Rhinoplasty/Nose (Individual Result May Vary)
This is a 24-year-old lady who had problems breathing through her nose and had a dorsal hump on the nose with some irregularities on the nose. She underwent a rhinoplasty as well as some inside work in the nose to improve breathing. Postoperatively, we have tipped her nose up, taken down the hump, and smoothed off the nose. The nose now does not have the knots that she had in the upper portion of the nose and it is not indented in the middle portion of the nose. We now have her looking better and breathing better. Her nose has a very natural appearance and not an appearance of an operated nose.
This is a 21-year-old attractive young lady who has a nose that is a little large for her face and appears to be droopy. The depression between the nose and the forehead is a little bit indented. She underwent a rhinoplasty. We have tipped up her nose, shortened the nose, and removed the dorsal hump. We filled in the indention at the upper portion of the nose. This has made the nose look much more harmonious with her face.
This is a gentleman that was having problems breathing through his nose. His nose had also been broken. He had a dorsal hump on the nose and the tip tended to droop. He underwent a rhinoplasty with septoplasty. His nose now looks better and he is breathing much better. Insurance will often pay a good portion of these procedures if is medically necessary to help improve breathing.
This is a 40 YO lady who desires some cosmetic improvement of her nose. When I examine her nose, she has a small hump on the top of the nose. Also, the nose droops just a little. She underwent a rhinoplasty. We took down the hump of her nose and tipped the nose up. People look younger when their nose is tipped up some. As you age, your nose tends to droop.
At the same time, we also improved her breathing. Since she was having breathing problems prior to surgery, insurance paid a good portion of this procedure.
