Abdominoplasty (Individual Result May Vary)
This lady is interested in improving her truncal contour. She wanted specifically improvement in her abdomen and her flanks. She underwent a combination procedure having both an abdominoplasty, which included safe liposuction of the subcutaneous flat of the abdominal wall, and safe liposuction of her flanks. She had an uneventful recovery. The contouring allowed creation of the midline raphe that extended from the umbilicus in the midline and the creation of a more feminine waistline. The surgery also markedly improved the prominent abdominal apron that she had, especially when sitting.
This patient wished improvement in her abdomen and her flanks. She underwent a combination procedure with an abdominoplasty, which included suctioning of the abdomen, and suctioning of her flanks. The flank suctioning removed the bulge in the flanks commonly seen in women and gave her much more contoured and feminine waistline.
This is a healthy lady who had a prior abdominoplasty who wished improvement in the remaining aspect of her torso, specifically her abdomen, flanks, and buttocks. she underwent an abdominoplasty with repair of the diastasis, fat aspiration from the abdomen and flanks, and fat injections in the upper buttocks to improve the contour and projection. Her postop course was entirely unremarkable. She has gotten a very nice result with a more feminine contour across her flanks and buttocks and a flattened abdomen.
This is a lady who has had multiple children and lost a great deal of weight. She was left with large folds of loose skin on the abdomen. She loved to dance and the excess skin greatly impeded her enjoyment of dancing. She underwent an abdominoplasty with removal of excess skin across the groin crease and vertically in the midline. She had an entirely unremarkable course and has gotten a very nice result. She can now wear more attractive clothing and is quite lithe on the dance floor.
This patient has had two pregnancies and, in spite of extensive work-out exercises and a personal trainer, she was unable to improve teh lower abdominal contour. This loose, poorly toned skin was especially problematic when she sat down. She underwent a full abdominoplasty with repair of the rectus muscle and excision of the loose skin. The scar was placed low across the pubis to facilitate it remaining hidden with teh more low cut, modern attire. She has gotten a very nice result from her surgery and significant improvement in the contour of her lower abdomen.
